Look where you want to go (your body follows your eyes).
Check: Eyes lead the turn.
Turn your shoulders slightly in the direction you’re going.
Check: Shoulders match the path.
Use a gentle ‘open rein’ to guide (ask your instructor to show you).
Check: Hands stay quiet.
Add a gentle leg cue to help the horse understand.
Check: Horse turns without rushing.
Practice a big circle at the walk, then straighten on a line.
Check: Circle is rounder each time.
