SICAB 2026 schedule: dates and what time

SICAB 2026 runs from Tuesday, November 17 to Sunday, November 22 at FIBES in Seville, Spain, and the final day is Sunday, November 22. The main event that day is the last show of the fair, which the provisional programme lists at 17:00 Seville time, or 11:00 a.m. US Eastern. The visitors page gives the same time and a box-office price of 18€ for that show.

That is the short answer to the SICAB 2026 dates and schedule question. Every time on this page comes from the organizers' provisional programme (version dated November 5), which says it can change without notice.

Quick conversion: Spain is on winter time (UTC+1) that week. Subtract 6 hours for US Eastern, Bogotá and Lima, 7 for Mexico City and 4 for Buenos Aires.

How to watch SICAB 2026

• SICAB.TV (sicab.tv) is the fair's own TV channel. It posts the day-by-day programme and keeps an on-demand section for replays.
• The official visitors page says SICAB.TV will broadcast the Morphology World Championship and the ANCCE Cups free of charge, on phones, tablets and SICAB's official social accounts. Check it the morning of each session for the exact running order.
• In person: tickets are sold on the official box office, sicabentradas.com. The show needs its own ticket, separate from fairground entry, and the Tuesday 20:00 show is by invitation only.

Day-by-day: the provisional programme

SICAB uses several rings at once. Ring 1 hosts most World Championship of Morphology classes, Ring 3 the classical dressage finals and the shows, and Rings 2 and 4 most other ANCCE Cup finals. All times are Seville time.

Tuesday, November 17

• 10:00 Morphology, Section 3; 16:30 Section 4 (2-year-old colts).
• ANCCE Cup classical dressage preliminaries: 10:00 for 4-year-olds, 12:05 for 5-year-olds and 14:25 for 6-year-olds.
• Show jumping Grand Prix, day 1.
• 20:00 Show (invitation only).

Wednesday, November 18

• 10:00 Morphology, Section 5; 16:30 Section 8.
• 13:15 Amazonas (side-saddle) Cup, day 1.
• 10:00 and 12:30 dressage finals for 4- and 5-year-olds.
• 18:00 Show jumping Grand Prix, day 2; 20:00 Show.

Thursday, November 19

The organizers say the show is the same each night and lasts about 1 hour 45 minutes.

What SICAB is, in plain terms

SICAB (Salón Internacional del Caballo) is the yearly showcase of the Pura Raza Española, the horse many English speakers call the Andalusian. ANCCE, the breeders' association, runs it. 2026 is the 36th edition.

The heart of it is the World Championship of Morphology, the 12th this year. Judges score conformation and movement in hand, section by section, sorted by sex and age. Some older sections add a functionality test under saddle.

Around that sit the ANCCE Cup finals: classical dressage, doma vaquera, Haute École, working equitation, show jumping, driving and side-saddle. Plus a trade fair, stands and the nightly show. If you are new to how the judging works, our PRE morphology show explainer walks through it.

The field: who is entered so far

What is known right now are entries, not a final field. ANCCE has published the lists of registered horses for the morphology championship and the ANCCE Cup finals on its competition website and app. Horses can still withdraw.

Two named entries reported in the press, from the Germans Rotger stud in Menorca:

• SELECTO GR in Section X (stallions aged 5 and 6), in both the morphology class and the dressage functionality test. He was a top-ten finisher in his category at the 2022 championship as a 2-year-old.
• CHULITO GR in Section IV (2-year-old colts), morphology only.

The official visitors page lists the 2026 show cast: Santi Serra, with mares at liberty and falcons; Laury Tisseur and Kenzy with two more riders from their company, new to SICAB; El Chamo, Rafael Arcos, Rocío Jiménez and Francisco Arcos in a doma vaquera act; a six-rider Cossack vaulting company from the Czech Republic; Sebastián Fernández, with an act inspired by bullfighting; and a driving act with Juan Robles, Pedro Mata, Nacho Pallarés and Antonio López Contreras. The organizers say the show programme can still change.

What to watch for

• Section X on Thursday and Friday. Stallions aged 5 and 6 are judged in hand, then ridden. It shows how the breed's look and its work fit together.
• The 2-year-olds on Tuesday. Young colts show how a breeding program is trending. Look at the walk and trot in a straight line.

• Sunday's special prizes. The morphology championship closes with its special prizes at 10:00 Seville time.

A quick checklist for fans in the Americas

1. Convert the time: morning sessions in Seville are the middle of the night in Mexico and the Andes.

3. Open the ANCCE competition app for entry lists and ring order.
4. Re-check the programme the day before; it is provisional.
