Sponsor Content Policy
What sponsored cards on Horse Academy may and may not promote, in every country: no betting, crypto, adult, political or health-claim ads.
Last updated: October 29, 2026.
Horse Academy is read by riders of every age, and families read our news next to our games for children. Sponsored cards must be right for that audience. This policy applies in every country, whatever local law allows. It is part of the sponsor terms.
Welcome
Horse businesses and services: tack and apparel shops, feed and bedding, horse health products, supplements and vet services, farriers, trainers and riding schools, boarding stables, equine insurance, horse transport, events and shows, breeders, books, games and media about horses, and similar.
Not accepted
- Betting and gambling of any kind, including sportsbooks, casinos, lotteries, racing tipsters and picks services, and anything that links to them.
- Crypto, tokens, NFTs and similar.
- Adult content, dating and anything sexual.
- Political ads: candidates, parties, elections, ballot measures and political causes.
- Prescription drugs and controlled substances, for horses or for people.
- Human medical treatments or cures, including weight loss, detox and anti-aging products.
- Weapons, ammunition, tobacco, vaping, cannabis and CBD.
- Anything aimed at children, or that asks children to buy, sign up or share information.
- Selling live animals in the card. (Breeders may promote their farm or stallions; individual horse sales belong in the marketplace.)
- Misleading or unclear offers, fake urgency, copied brands, and pages that hide who is selling.
Health claims
Horse health products, supplements, feeds and vet services may say what they do for a horse's health, including that they treat, prevent or relieve a condition, on these terms:
- Every claim must be true and not misleading, and you must be able to back it with evidence. We may ask for the evidence before we approve your card, or at any time while it runs.
- You must hold any licence or registration your product or service needs in each place where your card can show.
- You are responsible for your own claims, on the card and on your landing page.
A person checks every health claim before the card runs, and we decline any claim we can't verify.
The card and the link
- Plain text in the card: no web addresses, no shouting in capitals, no rude words. The button label is chosen from a fixed list.
- The image must be yours to use, show nothing graphic, and contain no text that breaks this policy.
- The link must use https, open a real, working page of your business, and match what the card says. It must not install software, ask for card details on arrival, or redirect somewhere else later.
- No pixels, scripts or tracking in the card. Your link may carry your own campaign tags.
How we check
Automatic checks look for banned topics in English and Spanish, rude words, links inside the text, the image's type and size, and whether the landing page opens. Health claims are flagged for the reviewer. Then a person reviews every card before it runs, and before you are charged. We may still remove any card later if it or its landing page breaks this policy. When unsure, we don't publish.
